La Ferrari arriva con un suono inconfondibile e cupo che si infrange e rimbalza tra le pareti dei palazzi, poi sbuca improvvisa come da una nuvola di nebbia padana, mentre qualche passante si ritrae sorpreso dallo stridore degli pneumatici sulla pietra ruvida, si ferma, docile e precisa, agli ordini del suo cavaliere. Le anime antiche della città: poeti, musicisti e pittori, osservano stupiti dall’eternità dell’universo; quali rime, musiche e dipinti, potessero oggi unire le forze dalla loro arte per raccontare le gesta, le avventure e le imprese di questo figlio che porta alto il nome e i colori di Lodi.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Castellotti, la leggenda è oltre il traguardo ” è un libro a fumetti dedicato alla vita del famoso pilota Ferrari Eugenio Castellotti, scomparso prematuramente nel 1957 all’età di 27 anni.

Attraverso le pagine di questo libro riviviamo le emozioni e le storie che lui stesso ha vissuto: Eugenio ci guarda, incrociamo il suo sorriso quasi beffardo, severo ma gentile, vediamo la sua figura sicura e forte, le sue mani, quelle comandate dalla mente e dal cuore, che lo hanno portato alla gloria, alla vittoria e alla tragedia.

Alessandro Colonna, interprete lodigiano della “nona arte”, quella del fumetto, non racconta solo la storia di questo eroe della sua terra ma, attraverso i suoi disegni, lo rende vivo, esalta la forza e la debolezza dell’uomo e del pilota e noi, sfogliando queste pagine lo vediamo e quasi lo tocchiamo..

 

Insieme a lui sentiamo l’odore del motore e delle gomme, viaggiamo con lui sulle strade bagnate della Mille Miglia, applaudiamo l’abbassarsi della bandiera a scacchi che è il segnale di un’altra vittoria. Con lui, quando la primavera è ormai prossima, respiriamo l’aria umida di rugiada di una maledetta mattina sul circuito di Modena. Poi è un ultimo rombo, un ultimo boato: rumore sordo e incomprensibile che cade nel silenzio più atroce.

“Castellotti, la leggenda è oltre il traguardo”, (The legend is beyond the finish line), it’s a a story told through comics drawings and dedicated to the life of the famous Ferrari driver Eugenio Castellotti, prematurely disappeared in 1957 at the age of 27 years.

Through the pages of this book we relive the emotions and the stories that he himself has lived: Eugenio looks at us, we cross his smile almost mocking, stern but gentle, we see his figure safe and strong, his hands, those commanded by the mind and heart , which led him to glory, victory and tragedy.

Alessandro Colonna, a Lodigiano interpreter of the “ninth art”, that of comics, not only tells the story of this hero of his land but, through his drawings, makes him alive, exalts the strength and weakness of man and the driver and we leafing through these pages, we can see him and almost touch him..

 

Together with him we can smell the engine and the tires, we travel with him on the wet roads of Mille miglia, we applaud the lowering of the checkered flag which is the signal of another victory. With him, when spring is now next, we breathe the humid dew air of a cursed morning on the circuit of Modena. Then it is a last rumble, a last roar: dull and incomprehensible noise that falls into the most atrocious silence.
