#iorestoingarage, la nostra passione in uno scatto ai tempi del coronavirus, è l’idea che il CMAE (Club Milanese  Automotoveicoli d’Epoca) di Milano ha avuto per cercare di esprimere attraverso un Concorso fotografico il rapporto che ogni socio ha con la propria passione a due o quattro ruote, durante un momento difficile come questo.

Organizzata anche per coinvolgere da lontano i propri soci durante l’ultimo mese di lockdown, l’iniziativa ha offerto ai quasi 2000 associati una occasione per sentirsi più vicini agli amici in un momento difficile manifestando la grande passione che unisce, anche a motori spenti, tutti gli amanti dei veicoli d’epoca.

Il concorso ha voluto immortalare le auto e le moto d’epoca all’interno di garage, cortili o giardini e in alcuni casi tra le mura domestiche. Nel giro di poche settimane sono stati inviati oltre 80 scatti tra auto e moto, rappresentativi del particolare momento storico vissuto da tutti noi. I partecipanti hanno interpretato il tema dando spazio alla fantasia e al proprio estro.

Il risultato è stata una gallery ricca di immagini intense, divertenti, tecnicamente sofisticate, originali, ma soprattutto significative e reali.

Il CMAE, che ha recentemente promosso diverse attività a sostegno dell’emergenza sanitaria, ha trovato un modo per mantenere vivo il legame con i soci e per essere presente sul proprio territorio in modo concreto, in attesa di tornare sulle  strade lombarde con eventi e sfilate a bordo di bellissimi gioielli d’altri tempi…

#iorestoingarage (#istayinthegarage), our passion in a shot in the days of coronavirus, is the idea that the CMAE (Club Milanese Automotoveicoli d’Epoca) in Milan which try to express through a photo competition the relationship that each member has with their passion on two or four wheels, during a difficult time like this.

Organized also to engage their members from afar during the last month of lockdown, the initiative offered the almost 2000 associates an opportunity to feel closer to friends at a difficult time manifesting the great passion that unites, even with turned off engines, all lovers of vintage vehicles.

The competition wish to capture vintage cars and motorcycles inside garages, courtyards or gardens and in some cases within the home walls. In the space of a few weeks, more than 80 shots were sent between cars and motorcycles, representative of the particular historical moment experienced by all of us. The participants interpreted the theme giving space to the imagination and their own inspiration.

The result it’s a gallery full of intense, funny, technically sophisticated, original, but above all meaningful and real images.

The CMAE, which has recently promoted several activities in support of the health emergency, has found a way to keep alive the bond with its members and to be present on its territory in a concrete way, waiting to return to the streets of Lombardy with events and parades on board beautiful jewels of the past…
